Joseph Joseph approached us to innovate within the category of collecting cheese graters for their diffusion range.
Within this category there are plenty of products on the market that offer various approaches to both the collecting of the cheese and the compact storage of the product. So we had to come up with a solution that set itself apart whilst offering simple and intuitive function for the user.

The principal we came up with is a subtle and simple application of basic geometry - the grating element sits in one orientation to nest inside the container, pull out the grater and turn 90 degrees to firmly connect the grater on the rim of the container. Sounds like magic, but what makes this possible is a slightly rectangular footprint and precise tolerancing.
